The Dawn of Equinox update for Sea of Stars was also released for free in 2024, introducing local co-op, a speedrunner-friendly relic, a full balancing overhaul, a new cinematic, and various quality-of-life improvements. This version is now the default across all digital storefronts.
As the studio shifts its focus to our third game, there are currently no additional updates or DLCs planned for Sea of Stars.

Yes, the core team from The Messenger also worked on Sea of Stars. As making an RPG was a bigger undertaking for us, we ramped up the team to 23 full time members, all cut from the same cloth, and working from our studio located in downtown Quebec City, Canada.
We love many different game genres, and are on a quest to create our own versions of the ones that are dearest to us. We’re proud of The Messenger and are excited to build on its foundation with Sea of Stars. This is not saying Messenger 2 will never happen 😉
